NEW BELL SCHEDULE STARTING MONDAY 2/9/26

Due to last week’s winter weather and hazardous road conditions impacted our ability to provide a safe, operational environment, resulting in a district closure Jan. 26-29, 2026. State law mandates the district to make up missed instructional time to meet the 75,600 minutes required each school year. The current calendar's additional built-in instructional minutes do not fully cover the missed time, requiring the district to account for state-required minutes. 

Starting Monday, Feb. 9, all campuses–except Early College High School–will extend each day by five minutes for the remainder of the school year. New school hours are reflected below:

  • Middle School: 8:10 a.m. – 3:40 p.m.

  • Please note, campus staff workday hours will not change, but instructional time with students will extend by five minutes. At this time, the bad weather day scheduled for Friday, April 3, 2026 remains on the calendar as a district holiday. 

We recognize that even a small change can affect schedules, and we appreciate our CFB Family’s cooperation in adjusting afternoon pick-up times.
